Well, I'm at a stand still this week with my weight. I have to admit, I'm very excited about the fact that I haven't gained any weight. Someone brought chocolate into our house this week (I won't tell you who, but it wasn't me or Josh), and...well...let's just say that once I tasted even a little, there was a horrible downward spiral into notgoodville.
I weighed myself earlier this week to see how I was doing and I was up to 303!!!! That was horrible! So when I weighed in this Friday morning, I was so relieved to see that I hadn't gained any weight, and that I'd actually lost all the weight I had gained.
So, I'm on a really good roll right now. I've substitued almost all the meals I love with healthier ones so the healthy eating isn't so hard on my body. I'm really excited for next week because Josh and I went grocerie shopping yesterday and planned all the meals out. So, I'm sure the eating will be great this next week. Also, Josh and I aren't going anywhere this weekend, so we don't have to worry about eating out.
So anyway, I'm stoked about what this next week has in store for me and my weight loss venture. Oh, I'm thinking about trying out for the biggest loser, but I need a partner. I don't know anyone that could do it, so, if you want to do The Biggest Loser with me, let me know asap so I could put together a video for the application. We'll see how that goes, I just thought it would be fun.

Inches Down, Weight Up?

Well, I must say, that I wish women lost weight as easily as men do. I went up two pounds this week. I am pretty sure that it's all muscle weight because I've been working hard like crazy.
Here's the deal. I went up two pounds, but I've lost a total of 15 inches so far. Now, I'm not complaining about that, but it is pretty frustrating stepping on the scale after a hard week of eating right and working out, and seeing that the weight went up.
I called my sister, because, well, we all know she's my little health guru. She said that it could be any number of things. As women, our weight can fluctuate during "that time of month", rather or not we have eaten meat (because it takes two days to digest), stress and keeping a possitive attitude. It's proven that people who have a really good attitude while losing weight, not only lose more weight, but they are over all healthier.
So, due to all that, and thanks to my sister's and your encouragement, I'm going to keep a possitive attitude about this. I'm also going to keep going and plow through my frustration. I've let it get me down in the past...but no more I say!:) It's time to get healthy and keep losing for the Fuse!

May The Inches Go Down

Well, I'm totally excited to announce that I lost 2lbs this week. Which, is good to see after last week. I just have to take a minute and thank all of you that read this blog, that are praying for me and that encourage me daily. You mean the world to me and I don't know what I would do without you.
Now, last week, I gained a pound and was not a very happy camper about it. I understand that women especially have fluctuations in weight so I'm taking it all in stride. However, on Saturday of last week, I did my follow-up measurements for Hip Hop Abs and get this, I lost 2 inches in each of my thighs and 1 inch in both my waist and hips. That is awesome!
So, I am very happy with my progress thus far and look forward to kicking my butt next week with Hip Hop Abs. Lets come together and rock this out for the Fuse!

So, I have to say, I knew there would be some fluctuation in my weight when I started working out, but I honestly didn't think I would gain weight. Well, I gained 1.6 pounds this week...I'm thinking it has to be muscle.
I have been eating amazingly...because this is my first week of Hip Hop Abs, I went hard core to get rid of stored fat. I worked out every day, let me tell ya, Shaun T keeps me workin' it. I haven't been eating 3 hours prior to bedtime and I've been drinking at least a gallon of water a day. This is the best I've ever done on a diet, so I'm pretty proud of myself.
Now of of the things that I will be doing here with Hip Hop Abs is measuring myself. I'm supposed to measure myself tomorrow after my 6th day of Hip Hop Abs. So, due to that, I will have a very special measured update for you tomorrow, so make sure you check this out tomorrow to see the loss of inches. I'm really excited because I know I've lost inches...so this will be fun.

I am so excited! I did my weigh in this morning and I lost 4lbs! I couldn't believe it. I did really well in my five goals from last week. I drank a ton of water along with exercising and eating more fruits and veggies.
I also received my Hip Hop Abs in the mail yesterday and am totally stoked to start my fitness plan that they have for me on Monday. It looks like it is going to be a lot of hard work, but I am sooo excited.
Now, the main reason I am doing this, other than to be healthy, is to raise money for the Fuse. I am really passionate about what the Fuse is doing in our community and I figured that this was the best way I could raise money. Please come along side with me and help support this ministry.
