Well, here's the deal. I haven't blogged in a few weeks and I want you to know why. As of last week Thursday, my husband and I found out that we are going to be having a new addition to our family. That's right, you read it correctly, I am pregnant.

I have been feeling very sick lately and very very tired but it's ok. The baby is due sometime in February or March, so my husband and I will be preparing for this, including moving to a different house.

Now I am extremely excited, however, this does mean that instead of losing a bunch of weight by December now, I will be gaining. I will still continue to blog here and keep you updated on my progress, but I won't be continuing Lose For The Fuse until after the baby is born. If you are supporting me you will be getting something in the mail very soon.:)

Again, thank you so much for your support! I will continue doing this after the baby is born, so don't count me out! Check it out next week for an update.:)

Hey there everyone! I was gone at a staff retreat last week, so I apologize that I didn't blog. But I have good news! I have lost 2 pounds over the past two weeks. I thought over the 4th of July I would for sure gain weight (just because it's a holiday) but I didn't and I'm totally stoked about it!

Not to mention all the extra work at the station has been keeping me exceedingly busy. I have no time to do anything other than work, eat and sleep. Which has been good for lose for the fuse, but not so good for my social life. :)

Yeah, now that things are getting more on track, so will my blogging and everything else. So that's wonderful news. Thank you so much for keeping up with everything and for your continued support. I seriously appreciate it!!! God bless.

Alright, here's the deal with what's been going on lately. I haven't blogged in forever, I'm totally sorry about that. I have been away on tour and so on. Anyway, not a good excuse I know...I'm just letting you know what's going on lately.

All last week and the week prior to that I was on tour with our band (the John Denley band) in South Dakota. We played some shows in Rapid City, Black Hawk and a really sweek camp out there. It was an amazing time. God moved in so many ways. But not only was it an amazing time with the Lord, I did amazing with my eating and keeping active. I lost actually a lot of weight while I was out there, but then coming back into the swing of things here again I gained a few pounds, however, I am still down one! yay!

I need to work more on being active. I've been working more hours at work lately so it has been difficult to convince myself to workout...but it needs to be done.

So the workout thing and drinking enough water are my goals for this week. My water intake hasn't been good lately, so I'm going to get back on track with that.

Thanks for your support and encouragement. Even if you don't have the funds to support me that way, please pray for me. :) See ya next week.

Alright, well, it's been a little bit since I've blogged. But, I've lost two pounds since the last time I've talked to you. I'm so excited that I've hit the 20lb mark.

These past few weeks have been crazy. I feel like I am working on things nonstop. Between the station remodel and the tour our band is going on, I haven't had much rest time. But all the same, life has been great. And I can tell you for a fact, that since I've been eating healthier and going out of my way to do more, I have felt way better.

Again, thank you for all of your support! See you next week.

Well, I am happy to say that I am another pound down. That makes me 18 pounds down, which to me, is practically 20. It really helps that my brother and sister are both health freaks right now, then when I go to my cottage (like this past weekend) I don't have problems with eating healthy.

Another thing that has been really nice is all this remodeling going on at the station. In fact, that is why I forgot to blog last week...we remodeled here all that weekend and even into that week. Anyway, I have been working like crazy, painting and, well...mostly painting. Which is really nice because I love to paint. So, I have been getting my share of exercise this week.

This week will be another work week, so I shouldn't have a problem with the exercise. I have been finding lately, however, is that when I work more at the station, I tend to eat less because I totally forget and lose track of time. That's not good because I don't want my metabolism to slow down when I forget to eat, so that will be my goal for this week.

Like always, thank you so much for your support! Look forward to seeing you back here next week!

Well, this week has been great. I have been keeping heavy track of what I eat on sparkpeople.com (if you haven't checked out that website, and you are trying to lose weight, I highly recommend it...it has changed my life). It takes dedication, but it is well worth it. I count out my chips if I eat them and measure everything so I can keep track. I don't know about you, but I have to measure things out, at least for now, because my eyes disagree with me as to what a normal portion of food looks like.

So yes, this week has been good and hard. Josh and I have been walking/working out everyday (including the weekend) and there were a couple times there were opportunities for me to eat pizza and I didn't. This first time was supper hard, but then when I didn't eat any I was proud of myself so then when the second time came it was a bit easier.

Also, again, like I say every week, none of this would be possible without the support of my wonderful husband, my family, Scott and you! When you read my blogs and even let me know that you are supporting me in your prayers and thoughts, it is unbelievably encouraging. Thank you so much for helping me over the hump of discouragement!!!!!!

Check out the blog next week for more!

It Was My Birthday and I Still Lost 2 Pounds!!

This week has been wonderful! My birthday was on Saturday, so I thought "uh oh", because we all know that birthday's mean bad eating. But, I'm excited to say that I have been doing amazing this week. I lost two pounds this week!!!!

Josh and I went for a walk everyday this week. Not only that, but I have been keeping serious track of what I eat and staying within my range. I did allow myself a birthday dinner and dessert, but earlier that day I did super well.

I tell you what, if you are trying to lose weight like I am and don't have enough money for a gym or a ton of healthy food, utilize sparkpeople.com. It is one of the best websites I have ever seen. It has helped me get my eating under control, keep track of all my calories and keep track of how much I'm working out and how many calories I'm burning. Also, if you have that one or two people that encourage you all the way through and stick by you through thick and thin (no pun intended) that is priceless. My husband and my sister have been that for me and I tell you what, I don't know where I would be without them.

Also, if I can tell you anything...keep track of what you are eating. Limit your portions and your calorie intake. Those are both soooo important.

Please come back next week to see how I'm doing!!! Thanks for your support.
